The family of an 86-year-old who died after being hit by a car outside Morrisons in Totton say she was an exceptional woman. Police were called at 11.59am on Thursday 12 July to reports of a collision involving a Peugeot 206 and two pedestrians on a walkway outside Morrison's on Spruce Drive.
One of the pedestrians, Doris Mary Lush, 86, of Park Road in Chandler's Ford, was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment where she died a short time later.
