I am on a quest for the best black sandals for women this summer. Try as I might to step outside my comfort zone when it comes to shoes, they are what I know, what I love, and what I feel most confident in.

Let's be honest; when it's too hot to even think about the clothes you're going to wear, let alone anything else, the last thing you want to be doing is finding a pair of summer sandals that go with whatever you pick. Black sandals are a sure thing. Try finding something more versatile, I dare you.

They are the building blocks for many a catwalk look every season, but this spring/summer, black sandals were spotted at Dior, Valentino, Loewe and Alexander McQueen in the form of flip flops, dad sandals and kitten heels.

While I've already got quite the established collection myself, I'm never too far away from opening up a new google tab and searching for my next pair.
